@jepryor It's a consiracy. You could have used Duck's pic, but then you wouldn't be able to make that comment.

About the Stars

The Frederick Stars Hockey Organization (Fr.SHO) is a SFAHL Division C team headquarted in Frederick, MD. The team calls the Frederick Wastewater Plant #4 Ice House its home rink. The fragrance alone intimidates opposing teams.
The Stars were founded in the summer of 2005 by the Cousins VanDev_n_er in an effort to increase the love of the game of hockey and the drinking of fine beer. Since the team’s inception, the love of beer has certainly increased and the drinking of fine hockey has occured on more than one occasion.
The Stars carry a roster full of American heroes.:
• at least one representative from each of the US Armed Forces
• a career fire fighter
• a member of the parks department
• several entrepreneurs
• a conventioneer
• and an insurance salesman.
The players and team management have a strong sense of community and feel it is their duty to help in any way they can.
The Stars have a rich tradition of participating in charity tournaments and will continue to take part in charity programs season after season.
As part of their commitment to the community the Stars have instituted a comprehensive recycling program. Hundreds of pounds of glass, metal, and plastic containers used in connection with team activities are turned over to the local recycling authority each season.
Stars hockey in Frederick, MD. There is no better refrigerated watersports franchise in town.
